How Do I Submit a Proposal?
PennWell publishes books for professionals in its various target industries, including:
- Petroleum
- Energy
- Electric Utility
- Fire Service and Training
- Controls and Instrumentation
Our goal is to provide our customers with training texts for practical application to their current and future work in the field. Therefore, we do not publish memoirs, industry or corporate histories, or monographs. We prefer topics that can be applied directly to current and upcoming industry processes rather than highly theoretical or political treatments. If you know your topic would be helpful to an industry practitioner in his or her job today, you are on the right track!
For additional guidelines on topic selection, check out our Hot Topic lists. While we are happy to review your suggested topic if it falls into the above parameters, the Hot Topics are titles we are specifically seeking at this time at our readers' requests.
