The Out-of-Print Process, and Return of Copyright
When a book has been in print for a number of years and the information is considered out-of-date, or if the book necessitates a new edition, it may become declared out-of-print. During the beginning of the out-of-print process, you will be contacted and informed of the book's status, and in turn you will have the option to acquire the remaining plates, offset negatives, and/or computer tapes.
